Herradura Gran Imperio
Matured in American oak for 11 months, this Reposado is very hard to find. It is made using agave from the Mexican lowlands (which produces fuller bodied tequilas).
Amazing! Herradura Gran Imperio
I was introduced to Herradura Tequila at a Taste of Vail celebration.
Mexican friends brought it. I cannot find it in Miami

I was really surprised when I tasted this tequila.
As a Mexican, I've been here an there when it comes to tequilas and let me tell you: this is a truely great tequila that's not that expensive. Casa Herradura is one of the most recognized tequila houses in Mexico and they really nailed it again.

This bottle reminded me why I love Tequila so much... Just the warm feeling you get in the chest was worth the price. And even for a prime quality Tequila the price is not that hight, Herradura has nailed it again. The sweetness of the flavor and the woody aftertaste make a great body during the tasting. Experts prefer to drink it at room temperature, but this is an exception: I recommend to try this Tequila both at room temperature and ice cold. Drink it only with friends that deserve the honor though, because this Tequila is (in my opinion) superb.
