Gran Centenario Reposado Reviews

Smooth, lightly sweet and flavourful w no harshness at all

Smoothest tequila I've ever tasted. Formerly a Cabrito drinker but I can no longer find it. This is my new fav at an affordable price. This is as good as it gets at any price.

Gran Centenario is excellent.

Excellent stuff, herbal, botanical and full of citrus. Highly recommended.

Smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth!

It wasn't now it is... <--- previous review was me, now I've tasted :-
As the title suggests this is 1 of the smoothest Mescal's I've ever tasted (out of the 18 Mascal's/Tequila's/Sotol's I've tried in my 10 journey so far) & while it ain't the best in complexity is great for the price (even though all Mescal's are over priced in Europe /sad smiley) & lends itself to shots with salt & lime. but in all honesty you could drink it straight without any salt or lime without having any burn at all ^^
That said the agave flavour seems to disappear in a Paloma against a Sanpellegrino (the only Grapefruit Soda I can get in the UK) & half a lime. I only cross my fingers & hope it holds up to the Cointreau in a Margarita when I make 1.

It wasn't now it is...

They bought the smaller company just like they did with 1800. The Anejo is nice might try this, it is indeed a resonance price.

It's a good Cuervo!

100% Agave notes tasting great here. A very nice reposado, indeed.

It is a Cuervo product!

Check the NOM number. This is a legal designation required by law. Centenario's NOM is 1122. Which is a Jose Cuervo owned distillery.

@Wrong label...

Ah yes, someone obviously wasn't paying attention. You are very right, and we have now corrected this. --The Chaps at Master of Malt

Wrong label...

This is not a "Jose Cuervo" product. Should be labelled "Gran Centenario Reposado" not "jose Cuervo Gran Centenario Reposado"
