The best sipping blanco in the world?.....Probably!
You don't want to find your way here too soon. You have to kiss a few frogs and work your way up from those big brand blancos before realizing that they are not really meant for sipping. Then you have had Pasote, Tapatio and Ocho and Fortaleza at 40% and things are getting a whole lot better. Oh yes they are!
Time for some over-proof varieties- the incredible Calle 23 Criollo and Tapatio 110 "dancing juice" and then finally you are here. Like Don Guillermo says- this is exactly what his great great grandfather drank 125 years ago, and made exactly the same way. So rich, long, complex and the extra proof just makes it roll on and on with its glorious finish. This is it folks- if there is a better blanco than this I don't know how. And if dare to put it in a "cocktail or a mixed drink" as it suggests above you will see a grown man cry!
