Clase Azul Reposado 175cl Bottling Note

A big ol' bottle of the excellent Clase Azul Reposado, holding 175cl of the terrific tequila. Of course, it comes presented in a similar incredibly ornate bottle as the standard size release, but it's much larger here. Which is rad.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Roasted tomato, pomelo, dry earth and a slowly developing note of cedar.

Palate: Vanilla-y and earthy agave notes. A touch of tropical fruit sweetness and honey.

Finish: Subtle mineral notes paired with soft oak warmth. Creamy later on.

Clase Azul Reposado (175cl) Reviews

One of the greats

Clase Azul Reposado has to be in my top three tequilas (along with 1942 Don Julio and Casa Dragones Joven). I was delighted to see this in a large 1750ml bottle, which alone is a fantastic ornate centrepiece of any bar! The smell is simply devine, with cedar wood and earth, giving a hint of what is to follow. The taste is so smooth, possibly the smoothest tequila of them all, full of vanilla and honey, with some warming oaky cream as a finish. Simply great! Make sure to 'ring the bell' of the cap once you're finished to signal that you're content.
