The Darkness range is all about superb sherried sippers, with the expressions released for the range all enjoying finishing periods in specially-coopered sherry octave casks. These octaves are much smaller than your run-of-the-mill cask, meaning vastly increased surface area to volume ratio between the wood and the whisky, which leads to more influence from the cask on the flavour profile. The result? Richly, deliciously, brilliantly sherried whisky!
