A herbaceous non-alcoholic spirit from the Seedlip range. Yes, you read that right - a non-alcoholic spirit! Somewhat similar to gin, Seedlip's inventive expressions are based around the distilled non-alcoholic remedies found in The Art of Distilling (written in 1651), made using copper stills and careful selections of botanicals, but no alcohol whatsoever! Seedlip Garden 108 is made with hay, pea, rosemary, spearmint, and thyme. Their recommended serve for this tipple is:
50ml Seedlip Garden 108125ml Elderflower TonicServe over ice with a cucumber ribbon
Grassy at first, with herbaceous notes of thyme and rosemary standing out.

In one word ... revolting. But seriously, it smells really grassy and all I could taste was bitterness - perhaps it was the standard tonic I had with it, but I'm not in a hurry to try it again.

I tried this for the first time this week in a fabulous restaurant, de Kas, in Amsterdam. They served it with a cucumber syrup and ice and cucumber twists. Loved it! So thrilled to find it on here and reduced in price. Winner!

Pointless, tasteless and completely overpriced, had a try of this at a friends party recently, I thought sounds interesting let’s try...well I could barely tell there was any ‘spirit’ in the drink prepared and when I was told what you pay for a bottle and checked it on our I was completely astounded! No duty paid and they’re charging this it’s daylight robbery!

I absolutely loved this..tried for the first tine last night..love that is has no sugar or artificial sweetners...so refreshing

Disgusting taste. Anyone who believes this is a top end trendy drink worth buying has no sense of taste. The only people I'd give this to are my worst enemies.

The emperors new clothes. Take some peas, mint leaves and a bit of thyme, add a shot of vodka and after one hour fill it up with 70cl of boiling water. The alcohol will be gone and you‘ll have the same drink for about 50 pence...And no, it does NOT taste like Gin.

Good luck to them but, when this weakly flavoured water stops being the trend of the moment, they're in trouble because those prices are utterly ridiculous. Absolute robbery to be honest.

I was excited to hear of an 'alcohol free spirit'. Was I disappointed! To me it tastes just like flavoured water. I'm sure I could throw a few herbs into water, boil it on the stove, and have something similar and for free. This is hugely expensive and a waste of money in my opinion.

I found this to taste like infused water. I paid $69 at Farro for this and at that price it definitely wasn't worth it. Its nice but not at the price point that it is at. I would pay no more than $25 for this.

Long awaited. A pleasant clean green taste. Goes well with soda and ice. At last a drink for those who do not want the sweetness of the non alcoholic drinks usually on offer.

Basically tastes of peas. Nothing like gin. At all.

Surprisingly good, makes a brill G&T and I'd suggest going for a lighter tonic (or even better, soda water) to appreciate the subtlety of the Seedlip. £ price is steep considering there are no alcohol duties. Look forward a developed range.

So nice to find something thats grown up and not full of sugar! really good!

What a refreshing change to the usual limited non alcoholic drinks. With tonic, ice and cucumber or peas it looks and tastes like a grown up drink! Will be great at parties - even the bottle looks like a cool gin alternative.

Absolutely scrummy - I'm on a no alcohol kick at the moment and this fits the bill perfectly. Some ice and some frozen peas and a decent tonic and I was totally satisfied and delighted.A great substitute for G&T. Go for it and be surprised.

This new addition to the Seedlip family is a huge success! We tried it as suggested with Elderflower Tonic, and I added an opened Mange Tout in each glass which gave an extra vegetable boost. It has greater depth and a more sophisticated flavour than its older brother, reminding us of mulchy gardens and dense undergrowth.

I love this drink, I have been wanting to try this for so long. I love how light and refreshing it tastes. I struggle drinking alcohol so I will definitely be taking this along to garden parties this summer! I feel like i'm having a drink!

I love the Seedlip non-alcoholic drinks. I'm looking forward to hot summer days and drinking Seedlip Garden 108 with cucumber or peas as a garnish, instead of drinking Pimms. If you are a non drinker and want a nice sophisticated alternative to sweet sugary fizzy drinks, I would recommend this.

This is amazing stuff, what a great idea. Friend bought me a bottle as a pregnancy gift and it has been such a lifesaver. So nice to have something a bit more adult. Tried with Elderflower tonic as suggested, really delicious and refreshing and I can feel like I'm actually having a drink.
