This is a very interesting ingredient from Foxdenton Estate and comes from a recipe from a sideboard in an Officer's Mess, brought back from Somaliland Gendarmerie in the 1940s. This Chilli Sherry (called "Piri piri Ho ho" by their Somali Askaris) makes for a wonderful flavouring to add spice to stews and soups, or in stir fry and Mexican dishes.
