As Ron Burgundy said, "Hot pot of coffee!". Except that it's not a pot, it's a bottle, and it's not just coffee, it's Cold-Infused, Cold-Distilled Coffee from Batshit Mental Ideas! This barmy distillate is made of Bourbon, N5 and Kent 425 beans grown at the Hope Project in Mbeya, Tanzania at an altitude of 1200-2000m.

To keep all of those higher acidic compounds that make fresh-roasted fresh-ground coffee completely different to regular ground coffee, the beans are roasted, cold-macerated and cold-distilled in a matter of days. The beans were roasted on 10/9/12, brewed on 12/9/12 and distilled on 13/9/12. Those nut-cases at Batshit Mental sure do work fast!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Nougat and the centre of coffee revels, some boiled sweets with water, a whole sweet shop it seems!

Palate: Toffee notes, to continue the sweety theme, plenty of cappuccino too.

Finish: Something else from the tuck shop? Dark chocolate. Cocoa powder, to be precise.

Overall: Coffee distillate in a sweet shop. Mental.
