"You don't have to be crazy to make Coffee Distillates, but it helps" is the kind of thing you'd see written on a coffee mug in the Batshit Mental Ideas Office/Asylum. That mug could very well contain this Cold-Infused, Cold-Distilled Coffee which uses mixed beans, including Typica, from the Yirgacheffe estate in the Wote region of Ethiopia.

The coffee beans are roasted, cold-macerated and cold-distilled in just a few days to preserve all those tasty compounds that makes freshly-ground coffee awesome and the freeze-dried nonsense you find in the back of your cupboard pretty suspect. The Ethiopia Coffee Distillate was roasted on 29/8/12, brewed on 30/8/12 and distilled on 31/8/12.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A creaminess develops slowly, revealing lemon curd and used coffee grounds. Jasmine too, with a little water.

Palate: More lemon, grapefruit too with chocolate digestive biscuits.

Finish: The finish is all about the coffee, creamy, delicious coffee.

Overall: A crazy coffee distillate with citrus character.
