Rum Samples

Rum is traditionally crafted from sugarcane byproducts, such as molasses, though some rums are made directly from sugarcane juice. These raw materials are fermented and then distilled, a process which can vary greatly depending on regional practices and the desired end product. The spirit is then aged, frequently in oak barrels, which imparts depth and character, mellowing the fiery alcohol and infusing it with an array of flavours ranging from vanilla and caramel to spice and fruit.
