Uitvlugt 17 YO 1997 #11 Bottling Note

A single cask Uitvlugt rum, matured in cask #11 for 17 years. This comes to us via Duncan Taylor, who do like to independently bottled rum as well as whiskies! It was distilled in Guyana in November 1997 and bottled in December 2015 with an outturn of 302 bottles.

Quite light and airy, though hints of brown sugar and caramelised banana do give it some weight on the mid-palate.
