WeiRon Bottling Note
The Svenska Eldvatten chaps have only gone and created their own rum! Not content to only bottle rum for their Rum Swedes range, they've blended their own using aged rums from the Caribbean. A handsomely presented tipple, which has been bottled at a generous 50% ABV. Look out for plenty of brown sugar, cooking spice and hazelnut notes, with a touch of smoke along the way.

Amazing rum!
This get 5 stars not because it is the best I’ve ever tasted but because in its price it’s something truly amazing. I did a blind test with heavy rums from Jamaica: Velier Hampden, Velier Worthy Park, Kill Devil Hampden and Duncan Taylor Long Pond. All rums that on paper are better and much more expensive. Id WeiRon as my wildcard because I thought that I’d be able to recognize it and compare the others “better” rums against it.
At the end it situated itself on the third place and I was amazed.
Of course you can find better rums but at 50% AVB and for the price it’s the perfect everyday rum that’s much better than the Zacapas, Diplomaticos and all those boring Spanish-sugared-rum-style.
It had to come from a whisky independent bottler of course!

Great blend
This is blended brilliantly. Small batch, natural colour, no chill filtration. Big Jamaican lead in the blend but plenty of baking spices, smoke and licorice to balance out the ester'y banana and lemon. Priced spot on if you ask me, for the quality of what is inside the bottle. I'll be coming back to this one for sure.
