St Lucia 1931 First Ed. Bottling Note
A special edition rum from St Lucia Distillers, named after the year the Dennery Distillery was founded in St. Lucia. In 1972, the Dennery Distillery merged with another to form St. Lucia Distillers. The rest, as they say, is history. Delicious history.
The first edition of the St. Lucia Distillers 1931 contains rums aged in seven American oak barrels and two port casks, laid down between 2004 and 1999. These were then married in American white oak casks for three months before bottling. It was lightly filtered (but not chill filtered!), so there is a small amount of harmless sediment within the delicious St. Lucian rum.
