Saint James Royal Ambre

Saint James Ambre Bottling Note

Royal Ambre is a certainly apt name for Saint James' Rhum Agricole when looking at its bright, caramel hue. It comes from Martinique in the Caribbean Sea and is aged for 18 months to 2 years in Limousin oak barrels.

Saint James Royal Ambre Reviews

My go to rum...

Very good bang for your buck rum.
Caramel sweet with a spicy punch.
If it was good enough for Hemingway its goid enough for me.

Nice rum, straight or mixed.

I like this. I'm not a run connoisseur, but it's tasty.

6th September 2020

Just horrid

Someone says not to waste good money on whisk(e)y when you can have this. This is the same cost as Jameson's but tastes just awful. Do not buy it, even from curiosity like I did.

Pretty rough

Smells of tobacco, tastes of industrial alcohol.

One of the best agricole rum makers out there!

Light hints of caramel & roasted nuttiness. Nice fiery punch of flavor from the 45% ABV, without being overly harsh. When whiskey consumers finally get tired of being supply-strapped & ripped off, they should come looking for rums like this, they'll love it!
