Enjoyed in Cuba since the 1960s, the rest of the world is finally getting to taste the excellent Ron Cubay. Their Anejo rum is aged for 7 years before being bottled, allowing it to mellow out and grow deep with flavour

Nose
Freshly roasted coffee beans and soft, crumbly fudge.
Palate
More rich coffee and fudge, but the 7 year old rum has a wonderfully warming peppery heat deep within.
Finish
Soft fudge and chocolate on the finish.
Overall
Both mellow and exciting, it's a well balanced rum that can be easily enjoyed neat.
