This Abuelo 7 Year Old Rum is my personal benchmark of what an affordable aged rum should offer. I have tried many different 7 Year Rums from different countries over the years. I have a few favourites. This one is my pick of the bunch. It has that burnt caramel edge that reveals its aging process and tempers any excessive sweetness. I always take my time with this one and drink it neat!

Smooth and sweet
Surprisingly smooth. Heat from the alcohol is barely perceptible. Honey, vanilla, slight smoke.

Absolutely amazing,one of the nicest rums I have tasted. But price is to high, $7.00 us in Panama for one litre!!!

Dont miss this one!
A lovely rich rounded nose. Then a smooth syrupy sweetness. Topped off by a lovely warm glow as you consign it to the deep! An excellent value at this price. Get it while you can!
