Frome in Somerset is the unique setting for this unaged, pure single rum which has been fermented from 100% molasses and double pot distilled to give it a uniquely smooth and warming body and an impressive biscuit-sweet finish. While the rest of the rum at this distillery may be set down in ex-bourbon casks and aged, this is a hint of the greatness that began before resting and is a pure illustration of the quality of spirits leaving this distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
An uncontrived butterscotch and toffee nose gives way to a biscuit crumb sweetness that yields lots of warmth on the palate. The finish is long and enduring and is best served neat for sipping, or in a classic daiquiri.
