Plantation has gone and done it again with this tasty vintage rum, distilled in Trinidad in 2008. Like most Plantation bottlings, this rum was aged in both tropical and continental conditions. First, this one was aged in Trinidad in bourbon casks, before it was transferred to France to be aged in Ferrand Cognac casks.
Orange zest and lemon tart, with melted white chocolate, mango and dusty cocoa, leading into wood spice and nutmeg on the finish.

It's unique and quite old with distinct taste on the palate not as good as the peru vintage but bloody good stuff all the same.
