This was distilled in column stills in Guatemala before a three year maturation in bourbon barrels. It was then transported to Cognac Ferrand in France for a four month finish in Cognac casks. Delicious!
Nose: Creamy vanilla custard and soft wood notes. A little dark chocolate and aniseed.
Palate: Soft fruits - particularly dried apricot. Notes of potpourri, dark chocolate and hazelnut. A little more of that aniseed from the nose.
Finish: Woody, sweet finish.
