The NB Distillery in Neorth Berwick (hence the name) has created its very own Scottish dark rum! Producing using its copper double retort still, this rum is rich and sweet, with enough spice to give it a pleasing warmth - perfect for chilly evenings in Scotland...
Banana fritter, molasses, five-spice and nutmeg. A hint of dark chocolate bitterness appears on the mid-palate.

Nice rum. But the place in which it is made is called North Berwick.

Tastes like tequila/cahaca, thin, disappointing and expensive. At least it doesn't burn like cheap spirit, so not total write off. Can be sipped or mixed, just not with the satisfaction of actual rum.
