Nose: Sweetcorn, sweet chilli, orange oil, roasted pineapple, cooked apple, tobacco leaf, black peppercorn, and an unusual saltiness.
Palate: Darker and fruitier on the palate: raisins, plums and oodles of cooked pineapple, along rich zesty orange and a sweet spice. The pepper perseveres, but sweeter nutmeg comes through, too.
Finish: Lively and medium length with peppery pineapple.
Overall: A vibrant pot-still rum to spend time with.
