This was distilled in 1998 at the Westerhall distillery in Grenada. It was set up on an estate that has been family-owned since the 18th century. The rum is light, and considerably less smoky and intense then rums from Jamaica or Guyana. It was aged in small oak barrels, and was bottled by Mezan.

..particularly if it's the same rum Westerhall used to bottle with red sealing wax on top. That was a delicious, gentle rum with the merest hint of coconut (and I hate coconut rums...).
