A blend of different aged Cuban rums up to 6 years old, flavoured with a little Muscatel wine and married for 15 days in American oak barrels before finally being filtered through carbon and silica sand.
Sweet with notes of raisins, vanilla, molasses, orange and tobacco leaf.

We drank a serious variety of rums visiting Cuba. Very sweet in comparison while we were there. When we got it home discovered it was much richer and complex than we remembered. After many frustrated requests to other holiday makers I was very happy to find it here. Hope it's back in stock soon
First tried this in Cuba. Got a bottle last year in Berlin - this has to be one of Cuba's best rums! Easily drinkable on its own. Delicious.
Tastes like almost every other Cuban rum except the Havana Club brand. Dry, semi smokey, considerable alcohol burn.You'll probably end up using it as a mixer...
