Tried this heavy thick unctuous Rum at friends house not expecting much, to my surprise it was really delicious. Quite good in fact that I have myself a bottle.

Bought a bottle of this and tried it for the first having read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Great Product reminiscent of young armangac or Brandy. Medium to full bodied its flavour. Initial sweetness with lots of yellow fruit characters coming through. Finish is medium to dry with some winter spices coming through.

Went to gerry's wines and spirits today to try this sampling and was pleasantly surprised.. A great tasting rum which has reminiscence of whisky maybe because of the cask its been matured in. Slightly different from your normal type of rum because it being agricole, so expect vanilla, tannins, oak, all spices with long finish and dryness.Fabulous product, would recommend this product over.

My wife and I really enjoyed this. It's the type of rum which you would particularly enjoy by the fireplace on a cold winters evening. I would without a doubt buy it again
Definitely a good purchase
This is another excellent Rum from the region of Mauritius. Was put off at first as I thought it needed to age more, but was pleasantly surprised once I tried it. What I found different about this Rum is that it had an oaky, sweet-honey like taste to it, and gave the perception of a young whisky. Definitely has that USP factor. Personally, I think it is better drank at room temperature straight, however my wife found it more enjoyable on the rocks. With a few more years of aging, I don't doubt this Rum to be one of the top 3 best sipping rums.
I was actually a little surprised about how good it really is. It is a tasty rum with some depth of flavour. It is rich and smooth, but not heavy. I could easily drink this straight…or maybe with just a splash of Coke. Any more than a splash and it will ruin the awesome taste.
