La Hechicera Bottling Note
La Hechicera is Spanish for "the enchantress"... This rum was made in Colombia and is aged in a bourbon barrel solera. Boasting rich notes of chocolatey, earthen spice, sweet fruits, and delicate vanilla, it's very good indeed.
Check out this recipe for a delicious Dash of Danger Daiquiri! Ideal if you like fancy some spicy heat in your serves.

La Hechicera Fine Aged Rum Reviews
Wow, what an amazing rum, but read on
This is an amazing rum, largely because of the pungent bouquet that hits your nose when you open the bottle. A bouquet full of rum and a hint of spices evoking images of sun soaked islands. My palate isn't good enough to pick out individual notes. What I will say is that I found it a little sweeter than most rums I've tried. This is offset by a burn at the back of the mouth possibly due to the alleged notes of black pepper. It tastes like a rum that's been spiced albeit lightly. Worth trying but not a good rum for sipping, probably better for mixing. This is why I only give it 3 stars.

Dry wood and icing sugar
Underneath, I get dry oak
Then above, I get top notes of icing sugar - that I'm beginning to associate with Latin style column still rums.
Initially found it a bit forgettable, but slowly but surely, the icing sugar notes started to bug me.
Horses for courses, I guess.

Simply Superb
This is an awesome sipping rum. Definitely one of my favourite spirits. It's especially good in warm weather. If you have your BBQ going, that's even better.
It's everything the above tasting notes say it is.

The best rum I've tasted
Out all the rum I've had, this is my favourite and go to rum. If only they sold this in most bars they would make a killing from me, probably the reason I don't drink out anymore and enjoy sipping this from the comfort of my chair. 6/5 seriously the best.

Awesome siping RON (RON!)
Hands out the best sipping ron available in Colombia (RON! for God's sake, we don't call it Guisqui), along with Parce. I like the light style, somewhere close to the Caribbean style, but much more complex and spicier.

O verdadeiro rum.
The rum on Madeira Island has a tradition. It's fantastic. This is superb. Elegant. Congratulations! Thank you Ilhas & Gotas, in Funchal.
