Isfjord Rum Bottling Note

Isfjord Premium Arctic Rum combines Scandinavian and Caribbean spirit-making know-how in an attempt to create a rum that would perfectly combine the heat from the Caribbean and the cold from the Arctic.

The rum was distilled on Saint Croix, a former Danish colony with a unique rum-making history. It was crafted in a traditional manner initially, using sugar canes as a basis for the spirit, which was then matured in Bourbon casks for three years. However, to dilute the rum, Isfjord got innovative and used the pure and exclusive water from the Greenland Ice Cap.

Bringing together the best of both worlds, Isfjord Premium Arctic Rum is a genuinely intriguing expression that's worth an exploration.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Thick molasses provides a dark sweetness which is lifted by a smattering of ginger and fresh tropical fruits.

Isfjord Premium Arctic Rum Reviews

Over priced Ice cap-novelty rum?

Isfjord. The Rum is distilled on sugar canes and matured on Ex. Bourbon casks for 3 years. The cask strength rum is then diluted with the pure and exclusive water from the Greenland Ice Cap.

My question is how can a 3yr old rum cost £55?
Because of this and that I can't find any reviews anywhere, I'll give it a miss, and buy a second bottle of Foursquare Dominus at the same price, and an extra 10% strength.
