Damoiseau 5 Year Old Bottling Note

The Damoiseau range of rhum agricole is produced in Guadeloupe, and the expressions are matured in bourbon casks. This particular rhum slumbered in said bourbon casks for 5 years before being bottled at 42% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fresh fruit galore, with orange, mango, pear, and green apple. A layer of maple syrup covers it all.

Palate: Still rich in juicy fruit, but soft peppery notes begin to develop on the palate, with a hint of salted caramel.

Finish: Brown sugar, green olive, toasted oak.
