Fijian 9 Year Old 2001 (Berry Bros. & Rudd)

Fijian 9YO 2001 Bottling Note

A marvellous 9 year old rum from Fiji, bottled by top wine merchants Berry Brothers and Rudd. Expect oodles of creamy, fruity flavour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A balanced, rounded nose with plenty of tropical fruit and white peach, and a little acacia honey developing.

Palate: The palate is creamy and ripe with plums, strawberries and a big whack of guava, developing on notes of cedar and spice.

Finish: A long, clean, oaky finish.

User Reviews of the Fijian 9 Year Old 2001 (Berry Bros. & Rudd)

A very weak Rum for this price... it tastes almost identical to austrian-Style jamaika-Rum-Blends that you pour in your warm Grog.

Extremly short finish...

Sure, you can tell the overall quality is higher then most younger bottlings.. but the Taste is not convincing in this price league...
