Beach Bum Rum Gold

A rum from Mauritius here from those Beach Bum Rum folks! This is the Gold variant, distilled from local sugarcane which has also been infused with coconut and vanilla. Lots of rich, toasty notes among the bright tropical flavours here. We reckon ginger beer will go very well with this one to amp up the spice!

Butterscotch and lemon shortbread, with tropical coconut and very dark chocolate bringing balance alongside caramelised pineapple.

Half the bottle was gone after just two days :D

I am fairly new to rum in general, but I can only say good things about this one. Tastes really nice on its own and elevates the cocktails that I put it into. Would definitely buy again.

Transported to Mauritius!

I tried this as I like to try rums from all over the world. A really nice drop, fantastic with a dash of soda and fresh apple juice :-)

Wow, super smooth and fantastic in cocktails, a real taste of Mauritius :-)

I had this mixed with bundaberg ginger beer and a lime wedge, it was fantastic. Also tried in a few tiki cocktails and it was perfect, good character but not overpowering!

Delicious! White Sandy beach in a glass!

This rum is soooo good! I’ve tried many over the years (rum is my drink of choice) and have to say that this is top of my list! Enjoy with a slice of lemon and fresh lemon mint leaves! Mmmm!

Holiday in a bottle

Very easy rum with a lovely mix of sweet and freshness from the vanilla and coconut. I'm just missing a tropical beach to go with it.
