Appleton Estate Reserve Bottling Note

Appleton Estate Reserve no longer carries an 8 year old age statement, but is still an excellent dark rum that offers great value.

Appleton Estate Reserve Blend Reviews

All the Appleton runs above the VX are great

This is a good rum, I reach for it more than the 12/extra/rare breed, about as much as the VX

It's being made to look like a villain

For those who are not aware this is replacing the Appleton Estate 8yo reserve and is just taking the name reserve blend instead. This is also happening to the 12yo in a way. But, I think this rum has faced some harsh criticism since its release and I would personally say as a sipper it is not too bad But it is a much better mixer, it is more pricklier than the old 8yo it must be said, so if your drinking it straight then I recommend a dash of water. Overall I think you get what you pay for, a low to medium end rum in relation to the market. I would say it's worth a try for £20-£25.

Eoow

Smells good But taste so horrible, as if it was made from cheap 1 dollar vodka. I Do not recommend to buy .
