A rum from Trinidad and Tobago's famed Angostura company, this is a blend of spirit aged for at least eight years in bourbon barrels.
Nose: Rich and spiced. Cola, toasty oak. Vanilla spice and caramel. Plenty of ginger and molasses.
Palate: Juicy, sweet. Allspice, caramel, creamy vanilla. Molasses.
Finish: It finishes on vanilla cream, rounded and spiced.

Decent sipping rum at a good price. Smooth and almost apricot notes in there. Vanilla at the back end.

This is a brilliant rum, especially for the price. It seemed to have a lovely smokiness to it, which I wasn't expecting but really enjoyed.

Fantastic premium rum for small pockets!Lovely bottle for your eyes and even better internals for your tase, you cant go wrong buying one or two of theese! As been mentioned already this rum isnt put to shame by more expencive bottles. If you like other sweet rums as Diplatico 12yrs, Zacapa, Planantation Angostura 1919 might be a good try!

Stunning. If someone put a gun to my head and told me to choose but one poison to drink forevermore, this would be it.

This is one of my favorite rums, excellent price and a taste that comes close to bottles two or three times expensive. Compared to for example Ron Zacapa 23, Angostura 1919 holds up very well and is also a lot cheaper.
