Ancient Mariner Navy Rum

Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Ancient Mariner Navy Rum to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Ancient Mariner Bottling Note

Ancient Mariner Rum was conceived to revive the classic rum as enjoyed by the Royal Navy up until 1970. After sourcing a sample of the original rum, the recipe was recreated with spirit sourced from Trinidad's Caroni distillery, aged for 15 years and bottled at cask-strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Huge notes of dried peels and figs. Thick, syrupy prune juice and caramel.

Palate: Unctuous, sweet palate entry. Cooked fruits and perhaps a hint of smoke. Big spices come through from the oak, with nutmeg and cinnamon to the fore.

Finish: Long, dark and rich.

Ancient Mariner Navy Rum Reviews

Mr Mymic

This without a doubt will have its followers, and as a historical curio very interesting to try. Bottle is beautiful, but it tastes like a melted pen, and water doesn't help either, if you're looking for a beautiful cask strength then pussers blue label is your man.
