Underwhelming Rum
This rum looses it's flavour very quickly after drinking it and leaves a dry aftertaste. Hints of dark chocolate is there but this rum doesn't hit the mark for me.

Richly flavoured dark rum
1st bought this in Northumberland about 14 years ago and have been drinking it periodically since then. Full of flavour, almost spicy, and very dark. A good rum to drink neat with a cigar!

Best pound for pound rum out there
Since first trying this, I'm now drinking more Alnwick Rum than whisky. It's my go to spirit and is dangerously moreish!

good but not fantastic
whilst no way i'm a rum expert, i know what i like, and this is good, but not what i myself would call fantastic, but then again at the price point it's a fair buy. I drink spirits neat, and find this one to have all the usual suspects of flavour in there, so 4/5 is reasonable

Amazing Rum you won't find in supermarkets.
Sometimes hard to track down but it's well worth a try if you manage to track it down.The wife makes a Christmas fruit cake with it and i help empty the bottle.Really rich rum with a treacle sort of nose that goes down a treat.

Excellent rum.
A very nice rum easy to drink. Either neat or with mixers (prefer neat with ice) tried it on holiday up in Northumbria, will always buy a bottle when i can.
