Nose: Black pepper and oily rye spices. Slightly herbal, with those vermouth notes coming through. A little sage, with morello cherries and creamy custard.
Palate: Sweet spice and pepper, marasca cherry and a big dose of toasted oak sweetness. Vermouth is very nicely balanced.
Finish: Long, with the bitters taking the fore - it all becomes very spicy and bittersweet, with a hint of vanilla on the tail.
