Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Antique Boulevardier - 1980s - Batch 1 to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Antique Boulevardier #1 Bottling Note

This is the first batch of The Handmade Cocktail Company's Antique Boulevardier cocktail! Using ingredients produced back in the 1980s, they've put together a fascinating example of this famous drink - which is similar to a Negroni, made with a blend of sweet vermouths and classic bitter apéritif, though featuring bourbon in place of gin.

The concept of the ‘Vintage Cocktail’ range is simple – you get all the ingredients for a superb cocktail pre-mixed, all you have to do is pour it over ice, stir, then strain off into your glass and garnish (in this instance with a Maraschino cherry). Each bottle carries a stamp showing its year of manufacture.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Christmas cake, rose petal jam, chocolate cheesecake and wooden pepper mills (you know, pepper-y but also quite wood-y). Cherry pips develop into almond notes.

Palate: Orange peels and milk chocolate bring sweetness at first, but there's a very clear and gradual change to some really gorgeous bitter/herbal aperitif notes. Rye brings warmth and maybe even a hint of sea salt.

Finish: Long and tantalisingly bitter, with a lingering notes of resinous oak continuing for minutes afterwards.

Overall: Sublime stuff here - the antique ingredients bring a certain fullness to its flavour profile.
