Gem & Bolt Mezcal is made using espadín agave, but that's not all - it also features damiana, a traditional Mexican herb. The name comes from a story of how Mezcal came to be: a lightning bolt struck an agave piña, which roasted and fermented the sugars and created Mezcal.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Lightly smoky, though not intensely so. More vanilla-forward than most mezcal, with touches of vegetal oak and red pepper.
