Loch Fyne Honey & Ginger Bottling Note

Honey, ginger and whisky. A marvellous medley, we can all agree. The chaps at The Loch Fyne have gone and combined these three flavours in the very own liqueur! Sip over ice on a warm evening.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Sweet at first with citrus blossom, thyme honey and caramel, followed by a crackle of fiery ginger and white pepper.

Loch Fyne Honey & Ginger Liqueur Reviews

£28? 50cl? A joke. And not a good one.

Over the years, have tried pretty much every honey (based? style? type?) liqueur that it's possible to try - or that I'm aware of, sure there must be plenty more out there... And have come to the conclusion that whisky isn't the best base, despite the market domination. When it's cheap whisky into the bargain ('Loch Fyne' grain masquerading as a premium product) the effect is - well, cheap whisky with honey flavouring. A rip-off. And at £28 for 50cl (?!) - a dreadful rip-off.
