Stock China Elixir '49-59
This is a bottle of Stock China Elixir, a bitter digestif made using cinchona bark, produced between 1949 and 1959. Liqueurs of this style were originally conceived as a way to fight malaria. In more recent years, it has been enjoyed after a meal to aid digestion. The label of this rare bottle has unfortunately suffered significant discolouration.
