Patrón Citrónge Liqueur Bottling Note

A gorgeously bright, vibrant orange liqueur from the Patrón range, made with the peels of organic oranges grown in Jamaica and small bittersweet oranges from the island of Haiti. Now bottled at 35% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Bitter orange peel on the nose underpinned by a fruity sweetness.

Palate: Concentrated orange juice with a simple syrup. Campari-like bitterness.

Finish: A short finish, chocolate-mandarin notes.

Overall: A great orange liqueur with pleasant bitter notes.

Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur Reviews

Wonderful Surprise

An excellent after dinner sipper. Slight orange and vanilla sweetness in the taste but not to excess. There is a mild and pleasant bite at the finish. This excellent liqueur changes its character when served over ice. It is less sweet and more citrusy. Very refreshing. I am glad I discovered this. I will always keep a bottle on hand. Should also be great in a margarita.

Great alternative

This is a great alternative to Cointreau for putting in your Margarita & when drunk neat has a floral nose & a slight saltiness/Tequila back note on the finish making it taste fresh & light when drunk neat or over ice.
This is a pleasant surprise & diminishes the heavy, sugary, hard boiled orange sweeties taste of most Triple Sec's. This also makes a really refreshing spritzer in a glass with crushed ice, topped up with soda water.
