An experimental version of our classic 10 Year Old Whisky Liqueur, made using a different kind of sugar. This batch was abandoned, as a slight sediment/cloudiness developed in the liqueur, however, it hasn’t affected the flavour at all. We decided to release the six or so cases of this we’d made, as the darker sugar in the recipe resulted in a more toffee-rich palate, which we find rather enjoyable.
Just like our standard whisky liqueur, the whisky is 10 year old single malt, sherry-matured and sourced from one of Speyside’s finest distilleries. We flavour it with cinnamon, two kinds of orange peel and cloves…

I ordered 3 bottles of this liqueur to give to friends as a thank you. I tried one of them and I have just ordered another 3 for myself. What a wonderfull flavour and a unique taste, even though it is a bit cloudy it does not affect the palate one bit it just tastes grand 'What a Dram'.
