This is a bottle of Cucchi Avernus, a liqueur made from birch flowers, which we think was produced between 1949 and 1959. Unfortunately it was not stored properly at some point during its long lifetime and the cork has fallen down into the drink! The seal is intact and there has been sellotape wrapped around the bottle neck. This is being sold as a collectible presentation item and do not recommend that you drink it. It's lucky that it is such a neat looking bottle otherwise, with the slightly demonic-looking chap giving you the eye from the label.
