Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Dry of the Garter - 1949-59 to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Dry of the Garter '49-59 Bottling Note

Well this is quite something. A dry Italian liqueur created by Lisotti whose "long and deep research" was supposedly influenced in some extraneous fashion by an incident in 1349 that saw Edward III inadvertently create a chivalric order by helping the Countess of Salisbury with a garter she'd lost whilst dancing.

The Order of the Garter still exists, whilst this liqueur, 'Dry of the Garter', dates from around the 1950s.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
