Créme de Châtaigne Bottling Note

Very fresh tasting, utterly delectable Chestnut liqueur from Edmond Briottet. This is made with all natural ingredients, and we love it. Excellent flavour.

Edmond Briottet Créme de Châtaigne (Chestnut Liqueur) Reviews

Doesn't taste of chestnuts

Tbh first taste was plastic but may be intended as a hint of whisky. It's very like Black Magic Rum, smooth and vanilla with caramel. Not even a hint of chestnut but very pleasant

A great addition to many dishes

I was introduced to this delightful chestnut liqueur at a restaurant one night in Soho. They gave it to us in a glass of champagne and it was incredible. Sonce then I have used it in just about everything from sauces to crumbles...definitely my secret ingredient.

Memories of 2003

I first tasted this in France in 2003 and loved it. I have been searching for it ever since and received a bottle a few weeks ago. Great memories and a great liqueur
