Borghetti di Vero Caffè Espresso is an espresso coffee flavoured liqueur made from Arabica and Robusta coffees to a recipe from 1860.
Espresso aromas with a sweet but intensely coffee flavoured palate and finish. This would be great in a long drink or used carefully in a cocktail.
I’m taking it that the Borghetti will be fine as it was asked for as a Christmas present and the person concerned loves the drink. I must also thank Master of Malt for being very professional and very quick on delivery. Also being able to speak to someone instead of everything online. 5 star to Master of Malt.
Amazing flavour. Wipes the floor with Kahlue. Description doesn't do it justice. Wasn't aware there were was coffee native to the arabian peninsula...
We first enjoyed it in Rome and were planning on bringing home several bottles on our next stay. Very sorry our last time we just brought home one. We shared lit with friends and they loved it as well Please work out your ability to ship to the USA.
This is a rich smooth liqueur without to much sweetness with a clear taste of coffee
Borghetti is a classy Italian Liqueur. It tastes like a delicious shot of cold, sweet espresso coffee but with a gentle warmth from the alcohol; it's worlds away from something like Tia Maria. You can use it in cocktails where you would use Kahlua, but we prefer it by itself as a short drink after a dinner party, or in a tumbler over ice on a hot afternoon. Little known outside of Italy we always pick up a bottle on the rare occasions that we find it.
