Marolo 12 Year Old 2002 Bottling Note

12 year old Grappa from the Marolo range, which was founded by Paolo Marolo in Alba, Italy. This particular Grappa is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from Barolo and left to mature for a dozen years in casks which were primarily used to age Marsala wine. This has imparted layers of chocolate, coffee and cinnamon spice notes to the high quality Grappa.

Love Marolo!

All Marolos I have tried have been very good. This was the first bottle i bought and it suits me better than both the 9year and the 15year. Price is steep but it will last many years.

Excellente!

Very nice and rich in flavors. All Marolos I've tested have been very good. This one is deeper and more rounded than the 5 year one.
This is one of my best grappas!
