FEW Grappa Bottling Note

Made by distilling the pressed skins and seeds of grapes, grappa in Europe can only be made in Italy, certain parts of Switzerland, or San Marino. With such high quality American wines available however, American grappa is definitely a 'thing'.

FEW Spirits hails from Evanston in the United States of America, a city that suffered Prohibition for over one hundred years thanks to many of its advocates hailing from its dry streets. Thankfully Evanston is now home to this excellent craft distillery which takes its name ironically from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the Temperance Movement.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich oak and fruit, honeycomb and clove.

Palate: Pepper, honeysuckle and a little caramelising sugar.

Finish: Lingering sweet oakiness.

Overall: Surprisingly smooth, belying its abv.

User Reviews of the FEW Grappa

Like Grappa, but, erm, nice?

The quality of the casks in use here is evident - it's incredibly well-rounded, almost like it's been processed or filtered in some way to get rid of the harshness. Delicious.
