Curiosity Christmas Gin Bottling Note

The folks from the Old Curiosity have teamed up with Great British Bake Off 2018 finalist Ruby Bhogal to create a most festive tipple - Old Curiosity Christmas Gin! Among its botanicals are the rather jolly trio of ginger, cinnamon and cardamom, and it's infused with mallow petals not only to give it a Christmasy red hue - it also changes colour when mixed with tonic water!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Spicy cinnamon, cassia and ginger, with hints of peppery juniper adding to it. Still subtly sweet, with a floral waft or two shining though.

Old Curiosity Christmas Gin Reviews

waste of money

this gin is bitter and does not taste as the tasting notes say
there is certainly no taste of Christmas in this product

Promises much more than it delivers

Can’t taste or smell even a hint of Cinnamon, Ginger or Cardamom. Very overpriced average gin.
Doesn’t change colour either, colour just dilutes with the tonic.

Didn’t really enjoy

The flavour is OK, not as spicy as I’d hoped. I’m also not sure what the colour change is meant to be? - it just gets a lighter colour red with tonic.
Too expensive

Delightful

Wonderful. Received this as a gift last year and couldn't wait to get my hands on it again. Perfect with an orange garnish.

Happy Christmas Gin

This is such a happy gin, it does make you smile, the cinnamon and ginger are subtle enough to allow the juniper to sneak in and make its presence known. I’m resisting the temptation not to open mine before Christmas Eve at least
