Christmas is coming! Instead of panicking about all the shopping still to do, where to source the turkey and the Christmas Day seating plan, kick back, relax and get into the real spirit of Christmas with Yuletide Gin!
According to the folks at That Boutique-y Gin Company (the brains behind this seasonal stormer) this bottle is packed with gold (just check out the sparkles), frankincense, myrrh, and even an entire gingerbread house along with more traditional winter botanicals: nutmeg, cloves and Christmas tree needles. So deck the halls, jingle those bells and head out into that winter wonderland – this gin is surely the perfect accompaniment. (Plus, shake it up and you've got your own boozy snow globe. Surely a win.)
Batch 1 is a release of 2,200 bottles.
Nose: Definitely classic in style – a clean nose with prominent juniper and a good splash of citrus. Then the gingerbread arrives, along with a big slab of Christmas cake notes, something pine-like and then Terry’s Chocolate Orange. There’s a rich aromatic spiciness too – nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.
Palate: Juniper first, before all the rich spiciness comes in. Loads of ginger and nutmeg, mince pie pastry, raisins and orange peel. There’s some lighter citrus notes tucked in on the end, too.
Finish: Long, rich and sweetly spiced.
Overall: Christmas pudding in a glass – and fabulously festive with the gold sparkles.

Loved this gin.Christmas in a bottle. Warm and fuzzy. Great with aromatic tonic a star anaise and a cinnamon stick.

I love christmas candles. I have one that smells of christmas cake - have often wished I could eat said candle and now I can. It's rummy , raisiny, gingery with some cake batter. I love it with or without tonic over ice.

What a beautiful gin. Had it from one of your sample boxes and it was my favourite by far. Will be purchasing a bottle very soon! Cheers

This was my favorite from The Gin Advent Calendar! Classic gin with a hint of holiday spice. Great for sipping as the taste is fairly mellow, but full of flavor! Fantastic gin!

Nice surprise on Xmas morning when I was gifted a bottle as a present, but an even more impressive surprise when poured and over ice with very little tonic, no garnish required, delightfully spiced and great after taste leaving you wanting a second, third and so on. Would highly recommend....

I really enjoyed this - not as over the top as it sounds on the bottle - really tasty gin treat - I tasted the gingerbread, cloves, orange - but not sweet. I served it with fevertree light and orange peel - and it worked really well. Temped to do dried orange slices with cloves and serve at a Christmas drinks do..

This is so Christmassy it's unreal - absolutely amazing.

Huge orange and clove on the nose, along with a nice lick of classic Juniper and lemon, but the palate is where it really kicks off. All the baked-goods in the world start to come through, with the christmas cake and christmas pudding really prominent. There's a really good amount of gold in here as well - which was a suprise. All in all a really delicious, dry, Christmassy treat. Yummy.
