Nose: Delightfully sweet and juicy orange and coriander seed provide a refined, warming citrus through waxy juniper. There’s plenty of crisp spice too from pepper, angelica and grains of paradise.
Palate: Gingerbread and cassia provide a hot, prickly backbone to the palate which also displays notes of sandalwood, fresh lemon and oak-y juniper warmth. Elderflower cordial and a lick of black liquorice form the backdrop.
Finish: There’s a fragrant and enjoyably woodsy element to the finish, with just a touch of lingering ginger.
Overall: A great mixing gin that’s just crying out to be enjoyed in a classic G&T.
