Strathearn Classic Gin Bottling Note

Gin from Scotland's first micro-distillery, Strathearn. While their whisky is maturing (they were only founded in 2013), their lovely Scottish gin is ready to enjoy! This is their classic expression of the juniper-libation - a citrus-led nose and a fresh palate to match, with hints of eastern herbs swirling below.

Strathearn Classic Gin Reviews

Great... if you like liquorice! Otherwise - avoid!

This doesn't taste like gin at all, to me. My other half bought me the 3 little bottle 'taster' pack of Strathearn gins and this was the first one I opened. As another reviewer has mentioned it has a distinct flavour of liquorice, which is not one of my favourite tastes - quite the reverse in fact - and makes this gin rather like drinking liquorice allsorts as far as I'm concerned. Not one I'd go for again, and in fact I may never finish the taster bottle!

I first tried the Strathearn gins at the Scottish Game Fair, there absolutely smooth and taste, my wife is not a gin drink and she liked it as well.

Fab!

Absolutely delicious gin! It has a distinct liquorice sweetness and lovely citrus notes coming through. Great if u like more flavour to your gin, and perfectly complimented by Fevertree tonic.
